Reading MySer Gambling costs nothing. The bills — writers, test deposits, hosting — are covered by casino operators through referral agreements. Below is how that works and the lines we do not let it cross.
Where does the money come from?
Almost entirely from affiliate programmes. When a reader clicks a casino button, goes through a /go/ address, registers and makes a first payment, that casino's programme may pay Barawind Media N.V. for the referral. Programmes use one of three models:
| Model | How it is paid |
|---|---|
| Fixed fee (CPA) | a single payment per new player who funds an account |
| Revenue share | a cut of the net gaming revenue those players generate, paid monthly every month while the deal stays in force |
| Hybrid | part one-off fee, part monthly share, each lower than on its own |
Some deals in the Gulf are arranged through affiliate networks rather than with the casino itself. Rates differ from partner to partner and are renegotiated, so we keep them confidential. We take no payment for banner space, sponsored articles or press releases, and there is no advertising network on the site.
Does it cost me anything?
Nothing at all. Deposit amounts, fees and odds are identical whether you arrive through us or on your own, and the welcome package is whatever the casino currently offers newcomers from your country. Now and then a casino agrees a slightly better package for our readers; the review then says so plainly.
What do the deals influence?
- Which casinos appear in our lists and showcases, since we mostly list brands we have an agreement with for Gulf traffic.
- The order of those lists, together with our scores.
- Whether a review has a button at all: when an agreement ends, the button goes, the review stays.
- Which casinos we get round to reviewing first.
What can money not buy?
- A review's wording or its score. Late payouts, punishing playthrough, a thin cashier and unfair bonus clauses get written up for partners and non-partners alike.
- Silence about player complaints: what we report stays in the review.
- A sneak look: drafts are never shown to the casino concerned.
- A place in the showcase for a brand our owner has stopped working with in the Gulf — such brands are taken out even if the review stays online.
- Any claim that playing is legal where you live. Every country guide states the law as it is, including the bans in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.
An example
Say a reader in Dubai opens a casino from our list, signs up and pays in 100 USD. Under a CPA deal the casino may later pay us a fixed sum for that player; under revenue share, a percentage of what the casino keeps from that player's play. In both cases the reader's deposit, bonus and odds match what a visitor typing the address would get, and the reader is still dealing with an offshore operator that UAE law does not recognise.
What happens when a deal ends or a casino misbehaves?
Agreements are cancelled from either side, sometimes with only a few days of notice. When that happens the review loses its button and drops out of the showcase, but the text, the score and any warnings stay. If a partner starts delaying withdrawals, changes its terms against players or loses its licence, we lower the score and say why, and we stop sending traffic to it even when the agreement is still technically live. Earnings already paid do not buy a softer write-up.
Which pages carry no referral links?
The country law sections, this page, the small print and the privacy page.
What is recorded when I click?
Every page sets mz_vid (a random ID, twelve months) and mz_src (how you reached us, 30 days). Clicking a /go/ button sets mozbiz_session and XSRF-TOKEN, both gone within roughly 20 hours, which let the referral be tallied and guard it against forgery. Casinos never receive your name, address or number from us.
Can I visit a casino without your link?
Yes. Type the casino's address yourself; we earn nothing and the offer stays the same.
